We employ two different cleaning methods based upon the fiber content of the material we are cleaning.
Wet Cleaning
Application of wet cleaning solution followed by a clear water rinse extract. Usually applied to synthetic fabrics such as nylon, olefin, and synthetic blends. This method is the preferred method in the industry if done properly. Very effective removing oil based soils and restoring color and texture. Can be done for less money than dry cleaning as the solutions cost less.
Dry Cleaning
Pre-vacuum, application of dry cleaning solution, and post-vacuum. Force dried by airmovers. Usually applied to natural fabrics such as cotton rayon, silk velvet weaves. This method is designed for maintenance cleaning and will not be as affective at removing the soil from heavily soiled natural fabrics. Dry cleaning costs more than wet cleaning and requires ventilation of the solvent based solutions to the outside of the home or business.
